Sanjay - not just another friend

I went to Junior High, and High School with Sanjay. He was a good friend, who always had a kind word or a funny joke.

Recently, Sanjay and I had reconnected on FB. We had some really great chat sessions, and sometimes in the middle of
the session, he would call me, and say I would rather talk to you on the phone than chat thru facebook. Hours of conversations were enjoyed
by both of us. He was on speed dial, and was there if I needed to talk.

Sanjay was supposed to come over to the house the week after he got back from vacation to meet my children, and my husband.
He said he felt as though he already knew my hubby just from joking with him on the phone. I have a child with severe special needs, and
when Sanjay realized how hard things can be over here, he made a point to call me every few weeks, just to say hey, and ask how things were going.
Then he would ask me when I was going to leave my husband and marry him..LOL

We talked about life, his life, his work, his very close friends, and roomates. All of whom he cared deeply for. Sanjay would talk to me about
a life he dreamed of. He spoke of his love for his mother, and what a great friend, and support she truly was. He knew he was loved, and he loved life
with such exubarance, that he made me love life even more..

Don't forget Sanjay, we still have a date, and I will collect! I will be your wingman in the sky, as I promised..
